67-68 front clip conversion

Wanting to swap out my 70 GMC Jimmy front clip for Chevy 67-68 sloping front clip and a guy tells me that my front fenders off my 70 GMC will work?

Can anyone verify this info?

If so then all I need is the radiator support, grill, hood, bumper and lower valiance?

Thanks in advance

Yes there are the same as 67-68 fenders,I'm doing the same conversion myself,on my 70 jimmy, you just have to weld up the holes where the trim went.you need to replace everything else up front, inner fender are the same, you probably need to replace battery side, due to acid, eating up the metal.

One more thing youll run into.....67-68s have a single core rad., so, if you are using anything wider youll have to modify the bottom mounting area as it hits the rad.

Good luck, as the '68 front end (with the side marker lights) is the best looking of the lot, JMHO
