1963 230

I pulled this out of my '63 last month when I put in a sbc. It was having fuel problems when I pulled it. It could be the carb, fuel pump, or vapor lock. I drove my truck with this engine in it for 14 years, and the only things I've done to it are HEI, took the PO's headers with a stock exhaust manifold, and a fuel pump about 10 years ago. I don't see myself using it again, so I need to find someone else for this fine little six. I'm not going to ship it. It's in Beaumont, TX. $50

Um, I bought it off of stovebolt. It's just a hei unit off of a 70's or 80's 250. I still have the points distributor as well. You can have it with the engine.

Re: 1963 230

If you'd sell the distributer/coil/wires setup what would you take for them shipped to 15126?

Do you mind my asking what the clothes pins on the fuel line are for?

FYI. That is a 1975-1978 HEI with separate coil. Most people know the one with internal coil.

Re: 1963 230

So..... I still have this in my garage, and I'd still like to sell it to someone. It's just taking up space. Surely someone could use this.
