Repair question!

I'm smoothing out some seams on my 1955 I'm working on the lower back piller where the inner cab corner meets the piller. I butt welded them together and ground them down and I have a few places where I went to far.. Made the metal paper thin.. What should I do? Thanks!

Re: Repair question!

I would just cut out the thin stuff and add more metal. Depending on the area you may be able to fill it with weld. But would not recommend that route. Better safe than sorry
