Lockup converter in non-lockup transmission

Hey, I'm doing a tranny swap this weekend due to some issues I'm having. There's a converter in the shop that is a 2200 or something stall and is supposedly for a lockup th350. I think I already know the answer, but would it work in a non locking th350? Also is there an easy way to verify if it is a lockup converter? Thanks.

Re: Lockup converter in non-lockup transmission

They do not swap.
Don't use "unknown" converters in anything.

A TH350C converter has a "pilot hole" down in the converter, A TH350 doesn't.
