I have a set of tow hooks that came from a 1991 suburban. I am pretty sure they will fit 1981-1991. They appear to not be bent. Need painted but nice other wise. $40 shipped Ryan.

I have a 1972 Jimmy and dont want to spend the money to get original style hooks. What would I need to modify to install these on a 72, or is it not a good idea?

IDK, maybe just drill a different bolt hole to get the angle you need to clear the bumper. I know what you mean about the 67-72 factory ones. They bring stupid crazy money.

I know! I thought it was a typo the first time I saw the prices! But I just want function, so I was thinking these might work. So bolt one of the two holes in and then drill a whole new hole, or just round out an existing one? I was hoping you'd say the holes still all lined up, but I guess thats too much to ask.

I doubt they will line right up. You could try to round one out but I bet you will have to drill a new hole. But hey, I have been wrong before! I can measure these holes out for you if you want.

Nah, I'll just measure mine and then go look at frames at the pick a part next week. Thanks though. All the tow hooks at the pick a part are already gone by the time I get there, so if they match pretty good, I'll see if these are still for sale.
