CPP 67-72 brake booster kit
I would like some opinions if it is not too much to ask. I am thinking of ordering a power brake booster, specifically part 196772BB for front disk/rear drum.
My 1971 GMC has front discs but never came with power brakes. This seems like a pretty clean kit with the booster and the proportioning valve. Anyone have experience with this kit. I gave up on junk yard finds as I need the firewall bracket and there are no 67-72 trucks in the junk yards out here that I can take one off of so I have to buy new....... |

Re: CPP 67-72 brake booster kit
I have this exact brake booster setup in my 1972 GMC C1500 disc/drum. Works flawlessly. The distribution block (proportioning valve) is in the stock location. The whole unit sticks out about 3/4" further that the stock unit so brake lines need to be tweeked a bit.
I also got it way cheaper and free shipping off of ebay about 6 years ago. Gary
