Re: Time to count GMCs

Here is my 1963 3\4T long step. currently 305v6,sm420,dana60 but will be going over to a 4x4 chassis as soon as I'm able to work on it.

First pic is how it looked when PO got it and then second is what it looked like when I bought it a month later. Unfortunately it has been sitting in my parents field since purchase due to health issues.....really hope I can get it together or atleast start getting it together this year.

Re: Time to count GMCs

Just made a deal to buy this 64 GMC 1 ton dually. I should have it in a few weeks...it is being delivered from Alabama. It is a 1 owner, matching numbers, original color was this orange but had a respray at some point in its life. 305e V6 4 speed manual. 60k original miles. Can't wait to dive into it....Only plans are to clean it up...put a flatbed on it and enjoy.

Congrats! I was very interested in that exact truck but bringing anything across the border isn't easy right now and I also wanted it for parts. However, it's too nice of a truck to part out so I'm glad you're saving it.

I agree...once I saw it and I showed it to my wife, she was like OMG...we have to own it! The only caveat is I have to finish my current truck before I can start on this one...fair enough...I am about 2 weeks from being finished!

Appears to have 18" multipiece wheels. A good candidate for 19.5" solids.

It does have 18" multipiece wheels. Tell me more about 19.5 solids? I am not familiar.
