Anyone know the location of the vin number on the frame?
I understand I have posted this in the wrong forum but it's hard to get any action there, could someone tell me where the vin or partial vin number is located on the frame of my 1990 GMC c2500. If anyone has come across it during a restoration or repair, would you please let me know.

Partial vin on my 70 is drivers side on top of the Frame forward of the motor mount.

It's in 2 locations on the frame I think. On the driver side beside the power steering pump if it has one just in front of the motor mount and on top of the frame just under the driver floor pan. This is on my 71 not sure on the newer models
