Re: Spy Ballon

Just reported there is currently a 2nd 'hinese balloon over Latin America. They said this is nothing new. Afraid to shoot it down as it is reportedly as large as 3 school busses and couldn't choose where it landed. Considering the current tensions between 'hina and the US, maybe they need to have a chopper go up there and hook onto it and drag it out to sea and shoot the chit down there! Or maybe just 'redirect it'.

Re: Spy Ballon

They say it's at 60000 feet. Too high for most jets. As said above get a Awacs plane close and fry it with a couple million gigawatts of signal.

Our country is so weak and it's administration is so in bed with china it's sickening

Re: Spy Ballon

It's time to start adding testosterone into the bottled spring water supply , or we can just send some therapist over to chat with the Chinese to make sure their in a happy place ? . It should have been taken down when it approached Alaska .

Re: Spy Ballon

Doesn't the US have a 12 mile limit from our shores that extends into the sky? Why was it not taken down the minute it crossed the 12 mile limit when it was out at sea? After it was downed at sea it could have been investigated as to the real reason it was released to float over the US and then take appropriate action to alert the world of China's false claims. ANYONE who believes China and the weather balloon off course explanation is fooling themselves. The fact it passed over so many areas of the country that contain sensitive installations was not an accident. Since the US did not respond with a shoot down in this case will there be more "off course'' weather balloons in the future? It should NEVER have been allowed to pass over US soil, period.

And Putin wasn't invading Ukraine, either. Right? This country has been in bed with China for a quite a few presidents at this point. All about money, like gambling in Vegas

I have a customer that's looking to have some parts made from a special plastic.
In trying to source it, I called several suppliers other than my regular guy.
When I asked about availability, a couple of them just laughed...."we can't get the resin...from China"..
We are sold out to the Chinese for kickback and crack money for the "Big Guy"...whoever that is?

I bet there’s a laptop floating around the FBI headquarters that could answer that last question…probably multiple foreign oligarchs that have an idea too. Say what you want about the previous admin, this crap would have never happened. The Chinese would have never tried it.

It should have been taken down when it entered US airspace when there was a very little chance of it hitting populated areas . US and Canada did nothing

Re: Spy Ballon

this is crazy.i know our guys were watching too, same excuse, didn't want to shoot it down in case the wreckage hit somebody???i'm sure there's a zillion miles of remote country side accross Canada's north where they could've brought it down and hit nothing but a spruce tree?

Re: Spy Ballon

It's now over Asheville NC ... If it's allowed to exit US air space without any action to seize it . Or they totally destroy it making it unrecoverable there will be serious questions that will never be answered to the general public , EVER !

we're all just rats on the wheel .

Re: Spy Ballon

I'm sure they knew about this balloon as soon as it went into air space. The true story could be anything from diplomatic concerns (???) to "I thought you took care of it"*
