OK, I guess I am too old to know what it means and figure some of the younger guys on here knows. What does "DUB" come from and what does it mean?

Wow was I wrong... So help me out with this one. I sitting a the traffic light in Frances and a young guy in a yellow 65 pontiac is at the opposite light. As we start going when the light changes he gives me the old 70's peace simbol "2 fingers in a v pattern... " Is that still .. Peace... OMYGODDOIFEELOLDTODAY :-(

Thanks Guys. And I think I will keep that link handy shifty. My granddaughter is turning 13 this year and I will need to keep up with her lingo!

Yeah, it is. "Peace, see ya later" is probably what he was trying to express. People do that to me when I'm driving the truck, I think it's like the "thumbs up" that fellow Impala drivers used to give me back in the day when I drove by them in my Impala.

Any time I ever heard or used dub, it ment to do something but not very productive, say if you're "flub dubbin' around" means your not doing much, but doing something.
