1968 vs 1971 Lug Nut Size
forgive me for asking as I am sure this has been asked only half a million times but I have a '71 cab on what I think is an older 6 lug frame so if I go by the cab which I think is wrong cause it puts me on the 5 lug wheels then the lug size is 1/2-20 but if I go by the 6 lug frame ie actual wheels than the size is 7/16-20 does that sound right (essentially I got AMAZON more confused than a blind goat on astro turf as they are recommending M14x1.5 which is metric, no?)

Re: 1968 vs 1971 Lug Nut Size
That is a very confusing ramble, the cab has nothing to do with any of it.
to be simple.... 5 lug 1/2-20 6 lug 7/16-20 2wd or 4wd Those 14mm x 1.5 are from a way newer truck, seems like those odd-ball late 80s and up 3/4 ton trucks with semi-floating axles and 6 lug? IIRC

Metric size studs are '88-up. Amazon is wrong. Go by '70 or earlier for your listing. Buy somewhere other than Amazon. There are places that know what they sell.
