Just one thing to address and then it's Green Flag Day

I am down to the end of getting the motor ready to crank it over ,,

After getting the tranny rebuilt I was told to be sure and put fluid in it before I cranked the engine up in my 72 ..Ok,,I remembered..

Doesn't it hold 10 quarts (it's a 350th) so I put in 8 and it ran some out of the over flow .. maybe a half to a full pint.

Do you suppose I should go ahead and run the motor and then check the tranny and then fill it on up?
