Install of 85 front axle in a 67 4wd

I'm planning on installing a 85 4wd front axle in my 67 wd truck to update to front disc brakes and to improve the turning radius. Both are 6 lug 10 bolt 3.73. I have already installed a later model power steering pump & gearbox, and need to replace the brake lines anyway. Anybody done this or know of any issues with this? Looks like the leaf springs line up, but not sure on the width. Thanks for any help.
