Doors, glass, and seals

I searched but couldn't find the exact answer I needed.

The doors on my 1987 are toast. they are PW /PL, uplevel trim. I have several rusty and/or damaged sets of 81-87 doors with manual regulators. I also have a 1977 with solid doors, manual everything. I'm making that truck into a lightweight machine. I'm looking at buying a set of aftermarket doors to put on it (lighter metal). These allegedly fit 77-87 (made by Key?).

So the plan is to move the 77 doors to the 87, install the 87 PW / PL combo in those doors. Then put the aftermarket doors on the 77 using 80's thin glass and regulators.

Am I correct that to do this the window seal set needs to match the year of the glass? And the most likely issue is the vent window package?

Thanks!
