options for SBC motor mounts

The last time I took the 350 engine out for rebuild, I went up to O'Reilly and they looked up the motor mount on the computer for a 1969 C10 pickup, and sold me the mounts across the counter.

I had a difficult time getting the center bolt in, the one that goes up through the mount bracket attached to the truck frame. It took patience and persistence and I eventually got it. I did chase the threads.

Also, I don't have the recall kit that secures the engine if the motor mount breaks.

Are they any different style motor mounts that are easier to install and/or have safety against failure built in? Are recall kits for trucks with A/C reproduced, or something else that is suitable to do the same thing?
