My Grandpa always trained me to improve the design if necessary.

Leave it alone if it was Good.

I think it needs a washer on the top of the spacer that will fit in the bed rib.

Then the bed ribs need a thin(1/16 to 1/8 inch) rubber strip where it touches the tank.

The top washer and adding 1 below will have the top of the bolt mounted Ridged.

Then the rubber in-between the tank and bed will keep things from shifting and loosening.
