My 1967 C-10 project
The other day Donnie asked me to look at his 2001 F-150. A few codes were read and I figured up a “buddro” estimate to replace coil packs, sparkplugs, and oil change. Donnie acknowledged and told me to get in his truck, saying he wanted to show me something. Donnie took me to an old Oak tree on his land, surrounded with overgrown Chinese Privot. You could barely see an outline of a truck. Donnie said he pulled the old ‘67 there after Mr. A.T. passed away in 1995. We got a tractor and cleared a path to the front of the old ‘67. After several failed attempts to pull the truck out forward with a 60 horse tractor we borrowed a bigger tractor and picked up the rear of the truck with the front loader and walked the truck backwards to my shop. My wife, Wanda, is 67 years old and remembers riding in the truck to football games when she was 12 years old. Wanda said the shocks must have been worn out because when they hit a bump their head would almost hit the cab roof! Stay tuned!!! https://photos.app.goo.gl/TWDvkJdJMaqirfMd8 Last edited by Crewguy498; 03-30-2024 at 04:06 PM. |
