What engine are you replacing? Inline 6? Small block or big block V-8? Was it the original engine that you are pulling out? Are you changing from points to HEI or had it been converted already?

We replaced with a small block 350.

Yes- I got that you installed a small block from your initial post. What was the original engine that you replaced? That will determine which wiring your truck has and how the wires are routed or were routed.

When I bought the truck I was told it was an original engine but when it started coming out it look like it was a mismatch of different part. But I have to assume for sake of argument it was the original engine
