Re: 72 CST Highlander parting out.

Lou if the OEM bolts are there to mount the spare tire carrier I'd be interested in them. I have a carrier but would like OEM bolts. Also interested in the defrost vents (black?) if the plastic tabs are in good shape and vents not faded. Thanks, Pete

I definitely have 1 good black defrost vent not sure if I have both. I'll check tonight. Not sure what size those bolts were. Carrier was already unbolted from tub. Give me some direction on that. I have a bucket full of bolts from this truck.

Re: 72 CST Highlander parting out.

Lou thanks so much. Payment sent. I'll try to dig out pics of the OEM spare tire carrier bolts. Basically these are hex head and fine thread bolts - almost look like a funky seat belt bolt. The bolt head is rather shallow - like 1/2 the thickness of a seat belt bolt.

BTW- what do you think you need to get for the tilt column from this rig?

Pete

Hi Pete,
I'll look today for bolts. I should have everyone's goodies mailed out today. I also threw in the armrests and 1 nice defrost vent you were looking for. Think I need to quit my job it's getting in the way of parting this truck out ! Tilt steering column I would let go for $300 + Ship.

Re: 72 CST Highlander parting out.

Lou thanks for the added parts - I really appreciate that!

Since I have a tilt on the shelf I should probably pass on this one. It looks good and I'm sure someone here needs this.

Pete

Re: 72 CST Highlander parting out.

How many steelies do you have? I need one for a spare. Are you selling as a set or willing to split them up? If willing to sell one, if you can confirm size, cost and shipping to 43040 that would be great! Thank you.

I have 4 15x6 disc. Would have to sell them in pairs. Was going to list them on the 60-66 side. For disc brake conversions. $100+ship pair.

Shipping would be aprox. $45

If interested I wont be able to get them to you until I get back up to mass and pick up chassis in a couple of weeks.
