What tank do I have?

Below are some pics of the tank that is rear mounted in my 69 K20. I should note the frame is a 78. At least I think it is.... Anyway the tank does not look like anything in the LMC catalogs and I want to order a new fuel pickup and straps. The tank itself is in good shape. The existing pickup has vent lines and such for a charcoal canister that I am not using. You can also see how deteriorated the rubber fuel line was. Yikes. It has been years since I filled it up and only dropped it so I could empty the few gallons that were still in there. The filler goes to the passenger side of the bed. Thanks all for your help!

it looks to be a mid-late 70's Blazer or Burb tank

Re: What tank do I have?

The last time i pulled a tank that looks just like your pic with that many vents and a return it came from a 1989 diesel suburban.

Re: What tank do I have?

So I guess it is looking like a 40 gallon diesel tank? At least now I know and LMC does have pictures and even dimensions in there catalog. I guess it helps to flip to the 73-87 section if my frame is a 78....

40 gallons...I am never going to fill that up.
