WTB 1967 Gmc parking lamp lens gasket

Need a source for a pair of parking lamp lens gaskets for my 1967 GMC. Does anyone here know where to find them?

I know I bought a lens kit and it had rivets and gaskets, but that was maybe 20 years ago, so I don't remember where.

Brothers has no clue that Chevy and GMCs parking lights are different.
LMC doesn't even carry GMC parking lights, let alone the gaskets.
Truck and Car Shops of Orange County, CA show the GMC Lenses [P/N 67-01005] in Amber, L or R, for $13 each. [Clear $17, p/n 67-010051] but they don't mention rivets or gaskets. However, with the Chevy clear kit, they mention 2 amber bulbs, 2 gaskets, and 2 lenses for $17.
You might email or call them. 800/ 243-8947
www.TruckandCarShop.com
Also email or call GMC Paul. They specialize in GMCs of this vintage.

Re: WTB 1967 Gmc parking lamp lens gasket

Correction -- Brothers does have the GMC-only amber lenses.
P/N: PLL72GM -w/rivets -- no mention of gaskets, though -- $24.99 each.
Brothers discount code [exp OCT 30] FALL20

And if no one wants to play Gaskets Only, you could trace out the outline of the lamp housing, flat on 1/8'' cork gasket material*, with a ball point, then cut around the traces with an Xacto knife, and open up the inside as needed. Stick them on with a light coat of RTV.
We did stuff like that before there were all these re-pop/resto parts houses, and after the dealer stopped stocking them.
* From Ace Hardware.

I remember buying lenses, rivets, and gaskets 15 years ago as well, I think from LMC. Checked their website and they are all still available.

Hi, It looks like you found them.. Unfortunately no one makes the actual assembly's but I found a pair in a junkyard... However, I do not have any idea what the bulb socket looks like... Does anyone have a good pic of one so I can figure out where to buy them...? Thanks in advance..

Yes, I ordered the gaskets from Manes but haven’t received them yet. I bought an NOS set of lenses on eBay and ordered the bulb sockets from Speedway (link below). I wish they were black but will see if they need a color adjustment when I mock up my grill before paint.

I think the OEM bulb sockets were brass. You might be able to extract a pair out of some Chevy light buckets. Pretty sure they were the same.

Re: WTB 1967 Gmc parking lamp lens gasket

GMC park light socket is gmc only. And not reproduced. So the only real option other then fajiggling the wrong one in is to find a gmc and hope it had them and are in good shape. That what I had to do.

One of the advantages of living in Arizona is that I don't notice stuff like that.
