Big Block Friday

Just thought I would share some pictures of mine and my sons Chevy Big Block projects. First pic is my 72 medium olive blazer with a 402, second one is my 72 extended cab with a 427, last pic is my boys 71 Chevelle with a 454. Lets see what you got!

Re: Big Block Friday

Thank You CST10. I see you are using the big stock brake booster. I race my truck and when I had that same booster, it was a royal pain to get the valve cover off. I bolted on a 9 inch with the booster bracket they sell here on the forum. What a big difference it made.

Re: Big Block Friday

Not finished but a factory 68 CST with 396. Obviously it'll be dressed up a little. Nothing like a big block in these trucks. Before teardown as a daily driver and the current state.

I feel your pain with the moving it to replace the valve cover. I have a solid lifter roller cam set up, have to lash the valves every now and then. The drivers side is a pain in the A$$.

Man those stacks look awesome.

All these big blocks make me want to build another one. Keep this thread going.
