Honda civic door seals dx or ex?

Hello everyone. Working on my 1967 GMC. Still lots to do. Anyhow decided to put in the 2006 to 2011 civic door seals and when I phoned my local Honda dealer today they asked if I would need the EX or DX model as they are different. I appreciate the help. Thanks Shorty

According to that link, the EX model is what you want.

Re: Honda civic door seals dx or ex?

The part numbers have to be correct or according to the return policy no exchanges or returns are allowed. Because of this provision; if part was ordered with out a valid vin number no returns are allowed. Let us know it they fit correctly! If they do, I will order a set. Their return policy has me turned off.

Here is the vehicle fitment for the part numbers given;
2011 Honda Civic EX, EX-L, Si 1.8L L4 - Gas, 2.0L L4 - Gas
2010 Honda Civic EX, EX-L, Si 1.8L L4 - Gas, 2.0L L4 - Gas
2009 Honda Civic EX, EX-L, Si 1.8L L4 - Gas, 2.0L L4 - Gas
2008 Honda Civic EX, Si 1.8L L4 - Gas, 2.0L L4 - Gas
2007 Honda Civic EX, Si 1.8L L4 - Gas, 2.0L L4 - Gas
2006 Honda Civic EX, Si 1.8L L4 - Gas, 2.0L L4 - Gas

Why does it matter if it's DX or EX? Aren't those trim levels? Should matter if it's sedan or coupe. Four door vs. two door.

Looks like the difference is in Four door vs. two door. Part numbers are all for the EX, which I assume it the two door.
I know, for a fact, the four door seals do not work as they are not large enough.

I’ve used 3 sets, all from 2 door civics. Didn’t notice the model of the cars though.
