Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Kev0519, That looks sick!! Nice work!

Today was the day my Offy intake finally went on, swapped the throttle assemble from rod to cable, ripped off the water intake and recent power steering project parts off to get them all painted and ready for re-install.

Should be able to get the new gas pedal set up and fire it up on monday (Long weekend!)

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

This last weekend I got the cover off the truck and washed it, I also drained the nasty five year old gas out of the tank and got a free mouthfull in the process (I can confirm that five year old gas with a dash of Castrol Valvemaster lead substitute tastes pretty nasty) I then replaced the rubber line and filter between the tank and electric fuel pump on the frame rail as it was very perished, the rest was done a couple of years ago. The three wheels that keep going down went off to the tyre place yesterday to be taken off the rims, cleaned up and remounted with new valves and balanced again I'll pick them up this afternoon and get them back on as currently she's sat on three old Isuzu trooper steel wheels with an assortment of junk tyres on them. The new mini starter is on order and then I need to sort out a battery, I've also pretty much decided to put in an order for a full inline tube stainless brake line set.

Got the rear end out yesterday and plan on getting the brackets switched over to the newer rear. We'll see.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

This past weekend....
Replaced heater hoses, replaced radiator hoses, removed radiator for replace/repair, replaced thermostat, sanded/painted: radiator supports, brackets, drivers side wheel well, grill support, trim around headlights, turn signal lever. Disassembled brake system, removed blocked line, replaced drivers rear brake cylinder. Removed radio, removed heater controls, removed glove compartment box, sanded and painted heater box. Removed the dash pad, cleaned up some wiring under the hood.

Removed yet more dirt dobber nests from inside the dash.!!!
