Re: 3 point shoulder belts

I just received my new seat belts a few days ago and got them installed last night.

I am very happy with the seat belts. I ordered the ivory belts and buckles, to match my parchment interior. Very good match.

Just want to say thanks.

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

Do you think these would work in a 70 blazer. I moved the right side seat belt bolt hole to the floor in the same spot as the left side. I also installed a roll bar that I put tabs on to mount seat belt upper hanger. I could make some brackets for the center belts. Thanks Jim

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

I will take a set of black 3 point seatbelts.

I also need 2 lap belts complete for the middle row bench seat in my 72 Suburban, do you have these?

By chance do you also sell the nuts/bolts/washers to mount them?

Thanks,
Andrew

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

I want to order a set of the seat/shoulder belts to go with my newly installed buckets and console. I'm thinking the white 9000 color is the closest match to my ( pictured) bucket seat parchment interior if you have another color you think may be closer let me know. I would like the buckle style like the black one with the GM logo ( original style I think ) and want to verify that the part that the belt clips into thats between the console and bucket is color matched to the belts. Also I'd want them shipped to Canada so would need a shipping price too.

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

I am new to the forum, new to having a chevy, new to having a truck lol.

I have a 1970 K20 with bench seat. I need new seat belts, as the lap-straps are old and dingy.
My question is with regard to shoulder belts for that year cab. I do not see where/how to mount them but am interested in being safer.

Is there a how to on this forum for that?

Once I get the figured out I can come back here and get black belts. :-)

Thanks,
Jo

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

Hi jo & welcome to the forum, if you read back through this thread there are many different pics of these 3 point belts installed, they bolt in at the factory points, there may be a plug in the upper corner covering the holes for the upper bolt, that will just pop out allowing for installation of the shoulder strap.
Let me know if I can help thanks
Tom

I've read thru but don't recall seeing a picture of a 3 point set in a '72 K5.

I didn't see one either. I took a picture of my cab and I don't see any plugs in the top corners or anywhere that makes sense to me for 3 point seat belts.

Not sure how to attach the image here.

Update: I did find the little plug in the corner interior. I have not pulled it out to see if it's threaded or not. Going to do that later.

Will be purchasing the 3 point harness in the next few days.
