Well guys me and Brannon decided that we would show a little of the ugly work! Lol I no some of u were hoping we wouldn't have to add any filler but sadly that is never the case ! Lol anyway I have been using rage gold for yrs but I ran out the other day and the only thing I could find was 3m filler . I will say I have been very happy with the outcome and will stick with it from now on. Anyway back to work!

Thanks! Lol i can say it blows me away when u have a truck like the good guys tuck were they finish there metal work in 80 grit da. I just can't fathom the amount of money they must have in that metal work. The idea of $150 grand is hard for anyone around here to swallow! Lol

Absolutely nuts. This is on track to be one of the nicest builds I have ever known about. You guys are killing it! In a 2 car garage!
Prayers for your son & hope all turns out well with the insurance issues. The system is flawed.. Are people serious about hating on body filler? The metal work looks ridiculously perfect. Serious serious talent over in Arkansas!

Thanks guys so much! Brannon is a friend and a good guy to work with. I have tried to go beyond his expectations in this build and for most of it he has given me free reign. Lol its just money right! Anyway people around here overhaulin and expect u to do a amazing build in a week and for free! Lol most people don't understand what it takes to do metal work and definitely don't understand the timeframe. I've done quit a few 60s firebird restorations and when u tell them they will have $20 grand in it they say that much for a paint job? Lol ya Econo will do one for $299 ! Anyway I'll get off my soapbox lol! I thank God Brannon is not that kind of person and I almost think he would give the shirt off his back !!! If I wasn't to fat to fit lol

Yall do such killer work! I've worked with metal for years, and still dont think I am near the level you are. I just admire your skill and stive to be able to do something this crazy and it look as good as yours. You guys Rock! Keep up the stellar work!

I totally agree with BigDaddyV. Not only is the metal work killer but the vision is too.
I know this part was minor but when you moved the bottom of the rear window down to be able to keep the factory glass when the top was chopped! I thought it was brilliant! It even made the bottom of the glass match the bottom of the door glass better! You make it all look easy and we all know better.

Thanks guys ! I can't take all the credit. The first time I saw I f customs chop a nbs truck in street trucks I was hooked on the stock glass chop. I think street trucks ran it about 2002 ish. Anyway I've had a lot of people teach me a lot of things and am willing to learn from anyone. Doesn't matter if they have been doing this 50yrs or 50 mins. I have to say the vision was all Brannons . He knew what he wanted so it made a lot of things easier for the laying out of the build. We will have to slow down a lot on the build for right now but it is going to the suspension guy. I can't wait to see it body dropped it will look crazy. The Michigan metal works suspension is amazing! The frame will look like a work of art! I'm planning on not body dropping the core support and just extending the fenders a little. That way the hood will have a better angle to work with. Anyway that's in the future. Now I have till Sunday to finish the cab and in prime. Just a little bit left! Lol

Great work guys! This is one of my favorite builds on this board. I like it so much that I was thinking of trying to copy what you guys are doing, with my next build. I wouldn't have the guts to try it, until I see how you are going about it step by step.

Lol go for it! I've always been told its just metal! U can always add more or take some away. I guess I should cut out the chop top part and add it to the 99-06 part of this site with this being a 99 cab ! Lol any help I can give just ask! I love helping other people!
