Re: Just some pinstriping pics

IMHO, Tom is the best I have ever seen. Add to that his poor eyesight (he's legally blind in one eye) and he is pretty much epic. He's downright gifted. I lived here in VA for 12 years and wanted him to pinstripe something for me but never got around to it. I moved to California for 10 years and saw the best pinstripers in the business at shows and brush bashes. When I finally did move back to VA last year I made a vow to get him to stripe something for me.

Those wheels have moved across the country four times with me. From VA to CA, then from CA to VA for 9 months. Then VA to CA again, and finally from CA to VA one last time, last year. I have a 1959 GMC Apache that made 3 of those trips too.

Here is my brush box that Tom striped while he was here doing the C10.

Did you ever hear of Pete 'Hot Dog' Finlan while in Cali:

He lays some wicked paint and did a lot of the paint work for West Coast Choppers for years when they were in Long Beach.

IMO, the '32 Ford 'Gold Rush' that he painted is one of the most complex paint jobs I've ever seen. The level of attention to detail is mind blowing.

Re: Just some pinstriping pics

Yes, I saw him and Gold Rush at the Grand National Roadster Show several times. He is really good too. I went to the old West Coast Choppers compound in LB and his work was everywhere. Gold Rush is mind-blowing in person, pictures don't do it justice. It'e eye-popping!

Have you ever seen Maze? He is pretty good as well.
