Re: Bring a Trailer, reserve too High ??

Very clean and well detailed truck inside and out- l think you should hang on to it if you don’t feel comfortable with the reserve. One small thing that I would suggest, remove the wing vent screws and sleeves and soak them in thinner to remove the paint. I do realize I’m a little goofy about things that aren’t supposed to be painted having paint on them

I really like the truck. BAT is funny. Sometimes I see over priced junk and other times really good deals on a nice rare vehicle. I had no idea they dictate how much to sell your propert!

Probably better to have lost out on that red one. I notice a $20k truck is missing the pad on the brake pedal. I always pass on vehicles like that because if they can’t buy a replacement pedal pad, what other corners were cut?

You can get more but you need to get in a auction like Barrett Jacksons. I think it would do 30k+ range there.

IMO 20K was a deal. I like Hoovers a pinch more, appears more intact.

Re: Bring a Trailer, reserve too High ??

I had the same problem with BAT when I was trying to sell a 67 gmc for a friend, they said reserve was too high and would not allow it. A month later some other gut put up the same vehicle on BAT for him with the same reserve I was asking. Something fishy over there...

I'm done with them but it bothers me they try to force you to take a low reserve.
Any auction on line or live will always try to get you to take a low reserve. They don't care because they get their piece of the pie from both buyers and sellers. Put it on Ebay at no reserve and if it doesnt go where you need it to, cancel the ad 24 hours before the auction ends. You cant cancel on Ebay within 12 hours of auction closing. Just dont put in yoir description that the truck will be sold at no reserve to the highest bidder then cancel the ad..
