Been a few years since I have fished for trout. My dad and I used to go fly fishing a couple times a year. Still have out rods!

One of my favorite old films is The Quiet Man with John Wayne and Maureen O'hara.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

That is great Larry! I love it when I can get my son to go fishing with me.

If I don't catch any lunkers this Sunday, I may head down your way to have your grandson take me fishing.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

His Great-Grandpa used to be a guide on White River, Bull Shoals lake.

The kids spend a lot of time on the lake in the summer.

We are building a campground for the Corps of Engineers on Bull Shoals Lake and the kids were going over to check on the job that Saturday.

My son in law said he happened to think about the fishing on the way over and stopped at Wal-Mart and got the rod.

Davis (My grandson) had a ball. His mom had to take a picture of every fish.

We have Beaver, Table Rock, Bull Shoals and Norfork Lake right here.

Come on down when you get retired and all that remodeling done.

If your into canoes and kayaks, we have the Buffalo River for floating.

I have a cabin on Lake Fork in Texas. It is about 90 miles east of Dallas. I will be heading down there in a couple weeks.

I have fished a couple tournaments on Table Rock. It is a great fishery!

Re: My Facetruck thread.

I have a Lake Fork picture somewhere. I guess on my computer at the shop.

We are looking at motorhomes. I told my brother in law, the fisherman, the other day, we needed to run down to Lake Fork when I get the purchase done.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

I have been going down there since it opened in early 80's. Have a lot of good memories from fishing there!

My dad and I bought a cabin in '00 after they had a big bass kill off there. Wish we could of bought a couple more now.

All the trucks got bought up by people who don't need them, leaving some poor unfortunate folks no choice but to find alternatives.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

I know! I'd say that truck is absolutely unsafe, but he is wearing a face shield after all.

Was that transporter in the hijack thread? Hard to say. Facebook hijack, what's the difference? Here are both. This first shot after careful chain-link alignment and the second corrected one with extra care given to alignment.

I can't see out of one eye and I'm blind in the other. This picture is when I came to realize the camera is not a double reflex lens type. It actually takes a picture from "near" the viewer, so not from the exact same point. What I should have done was walked over for a picture while we were getting the VIP back lot tour. It was perfect, the day after a holiday when they were crowded. We had the curator/guide to ourselves all afternoon. I left very well informed. This feller worked for Kenworth all his life in sales. So he knew all about truck building and all the exceptional differences that can be found. That pictures was a "could you pull back there so I can grab a shot of that carrier?" on our way out type of thing. I recognized it from a prior thread and knew somelarry or other would recognize it.
