Re: Low Budget '70 C-10
Yeah, I'm not big on mustard yellow but its free and it will give it that classic truck look. I was thinking about doing a static drop for now to save on money, I was going to make blocks to raise the axle in the rear, and torch out the spring perch on the front A arm and weld in a piece of pipe/flat plate to make it deeper, I was thinking a 3/4 drop and doing it this way should not change the way it rides.

Did some work on the bed today, we welded the holes closed for the side running lights and all the trim holes closed. then knocked out some dents along the bottom and skim coated it.

Re: Low Budget '70 C-10
Bob (my father inlaw) has this week off and he is doing the body work on the bed, I'm busy at my job and don't have the time to work on the truck, 12 hr days 6 days a week sucks.
