50 years old. Rubber floor mat is good, The gold seat cover has been replaced with a reasonable facsimile, but it is shot too. the door panels are fair, and the sandalwood dash pad is bad. I happen to have a gold interior, cloth with scroll and door panels. The dash pad is a conundrum.

If it had rolled off the trailer at Grandview, it would have probably coasted to Lone Jack.

I assume the K20 will be used to haul the K10 around when it’s finished? The K10 is so nice it will be considered a “trailer queen”- correct?

My 133"WB will be the tow rig. The K20 will be my backup.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

I just went back and looked on my phone
When I took those pictures...
They were before my join date on here
The truck is long gone
-
Another one I had to be quick
I was the second caller on cl
I think the price was $3500
So I made a deal for 3k cash
Grabbed a friend and drove to south San Francisco
(This is way before I had a car trailer)
What I remember, it hadn’t been driven in quite some time
So I had to run to the auto parts store and grab a battery
Fired right up, and off we went
But it was some sort of holiday weekend
And in SF the traffic can get gnarly
The truck kept getting hot on me
So I would go of on the surface streets trying to pick up speed
To cool it down
Yes, it took forever to get home
But I still had the truck
-
Back then I took very little before pictures
It didn’t look like that
It had some undersized wheel/tire combo
And aftermarket kragen black mirrors on it
I think it also had a decent size dent in the bedside
But it’s bones were ‘Original ‘
Even had one of those plastic seat covers they put on in the early 70,s
I took it off when I sold it

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

Dang Eric, that longhorn was killer. All the cool options! Larry, I’m still chuckling to my self at the conversation Pete and I had over that truck you just picked up. Pete sends it to me around the same time as you, (I didn’t know he sent it to you) asking me if I needed another. I check the link. Looks like an awesome truck. 15 minutes later I check it again and it’s gone... I text Pete and say, man that one went quick... he agrees. Then the next morning the truth comes out! I told Pete, had I brought that truck home before a newer suburban for my wife I would have been living in that truck... if it had come with a camper it might have been more tempting

I think I’m going to build a K-longhorn next. Just need to find the right truck to convert.

yes! it's been done and they're awesome

I might suggest a big block longhorn candidate for K conversion so you can check two boxes at once;

no factory longhorn 4wd
no factory 4wd big block

I approve of this message as well. Also go all out and check the steel floor Longhorn box too.

I might know where one is under construction/stalled.

Speaking of K Longhorns, I might have a pic to share.

I'm missing driving my 133". I'll be glad when my pistons get here, so I can get my 454 put together.

Larry, I've got some new .030 454 pistons I'd make a guy a deal on.
