Brake Line Help

I had to replace the hard lines on the axle of my 71 Burb. No one sells a new line with 7/16 fittings on one end and 3/8 on the other. Bought adapters, which stripped out the flex hose block.

I noticed the 73+ flex hose as 3/8 fittings instead of 7/16, but its a few inches shorter. Burb is lowered about 2" in the back.

Anyone using the newer flex hose or think I could get away with it?

Re: Brake Line Help

Just buy the correct fitting and cut off the wrong and add the new. Nothing wrong with usr a different hose as long as it clears every thing and hooks up right. I just made my main brake line fronm a 50 foot coil of poly coated line. One piece and no unions.
