The Rotten Pumpkin

I've owned this truck for like 12 years now its always been the summer DD back then I never thought much about it. It was just fun and I didn't care if it got door dings. When I first got it she was a straight 6 three on the tree but the clutch went bad so the small block and 700r4 I had sitting around went in. Now days its a 350 with a little cam 221/221 on a 108, Q jet on a iron intake, some summit heads 72 cc chambers. Still got the 700r4 but the reared has been swapped to a '71 12 bolt with 3.08 gears (the slightly wider axle helped run the 8" rims out back). These days she mostly gets used for longer highway trips.

Nice truck. Have any other plans for it?

Re: The Rotten Pumpkin

Thanks. Not really I just use it, though at some point a front sway bar would be nice

Re: The Rotten Pumpkin

I like it! A front sway bar is definitely a good modification. It improved the drivability of my truck a ton

Re: The Rotten Pumpkin

Took the pumpkin out to the Tin Butchers Scrap Drive today. Pretty good show considering the threat of rain
