1976 c20 Spirit of '76 Bonanza Scottsdale

There is an add on Facebook in Virginia for a supposedly one of ten (?????) 1976 Chevrolet c20 Spirit of '76 Bonanza Scottsdale.

I only see one add claiming this on google so no idea if they are blowing smoke. Asking 20k. Not mine. Vin is CCL2461141367 I expect if that is true they 100 % know which vins are one of these. Seems extremely hard to believe.

It is either a Scottsdale or a Bonanza. Bonanza was a specially priced option package that was less expensive than ordering options separately. I don't see any red, white and blue decal package that could be associated with the '76 Bicentennial theme of the year. IMO, blowing smoke.

They aren't super rare certainly not 1 of 10

It has at least one of the Spirit of 76 door panels but the color is gone from the medallion.
This is what they look like with the enamel paint.

They didn't take the seat and dash covers off so you could see the condition. Dash pads are not awful to find and there's nothing special about it but the Spirit of 76 seat upholstery is not something you're going to pick off the shelf.
This is the proper red white and blue Spirit of 76 seat and the white LH door panel with the medallion. There's one reupholstered in Tinas' bench seat thread. Not sure where they came by the special red and blue striped vinyl insert fabric. I'd lay good odds it wasn't cheap.

I really wish folks would take better pictures of the stuff they are selling especially when they're asking 20 kilobucks for it. One of my pet peeves.
Full pictures of each door panel. Remove the dash pad cover and the seat cover to show the condition.
If someone comes to look they're going to take the covers off and look so it's not going to stay hidden.
Getting condition out of the way, as much as good pictures can, avoids having folks show up only to discover they wasted a trip.

I see that ad get re-posted at least once a week/+ on the square for sale groups. Don't think they could give it away if they tried at this point...
