Pics/info on inline 6 with a turbo setup

So I saw this done to a truck online and thought my 4.1 in my 84 could be a perfect candidate. Any info and defiantly pics would be great thanks.

I read about turbo inline 6's when I was researching my F100 project.

If you hp goals are reasonable they do great, but they have a tendency to pull a bit like a diesel. So if your heart is set on it I sat go for it, but if your looking for cheap hp there are better ways.

The only thing I would seriously do different is to go with mpfi to better control the engines inherent flaws, and detonation. The manifold is rather long, and it can cause the outside cylinders to run lean with the inner ones running rich. To go with the mpfi I believe a V6 HEI from a Vortec can be adapted for spark control.

When I was bench racing my 300 I6 for my F100 project I was going to keep my psi below 10 so I could get away with out a inter-cooler. According to everything I read inter-coolers become necessary at the 12-14psi range depending on a few things. In the end I found a truck with a 352FE, but I will swap a 300 in when I have money for the rebuild.

That Ford 300 six is an awesome motor. I had a '88 F150 when I was contracting and it just kept going and going. Plenty of hot rod parts for it, too.

I changed out the fuel pump for an unmechanical buddy [musician] once. He had a 300 Ford in his truck. It looked to me like a mirror-image of the 292 L6 -- everything was on the other side.
