Steering Column
My 67 has an aftermarket chrome steering column that was installed by a previous owner. I have a bad turn signal switch and need to replace it. Is there a way to tell what switch to purchase? I do know that the column does have "Tilt". I have heard that it might be the same as a square body column but I am not sure how to tell.

The turn signal switch can be purchased from;
https://www.americanautowire.com/ Even have a real person that answered the phone. With out the self help BS most companies seem to have now days. I believe the ididit and others use a GM switch. Best to confirm. Rick |

You can be assured that the switch wasn't manufactured just for an aftermarket column. They used and existing switch. With the safety ramifications the research and development would have been prohibitive.

The 4 way flasher knob is not for a 67 to 72 model. Looks like a 73 on up. Look at the electrical connector and see if that will give you any clue into what it is.

I'm going to say that looks an awful lot like an IDIDIT steering column. I have 2 of those, one chrome like yours, and a plain steel one.
