Kawbe you told us once before how to figure out what the gearing is in a rearend? I am going to a friends house to pick up a rearend and can't remember what you said.

Well it aint nothing to it but to do it.

If the rearend does not have the tag on it and you want to know the exact gear ratio you can open it up and the ring gear should have a number stamped on it and it looks like this 41:12. That means the ring gear has 41 teeth and the pinion has 12. Divide the number of ring gear teeth by the number of pinion gear teeth. That will give you the exact gear ratio.
