What kind of clutch kit do I need?

I need a clutch kit for my '68 C10 with Inline 6 (250). Does anyone know if the 1 in this link will work, or have a suggestion? Parts store sells a 10" & 11". I'm guessing 11" is for the trucks? Thanks.

the one on ebay is 11", says it is for trucks with a 307 engine, I have seen 12" clutches in 350's, you won't know for sure what is on your inline 6 until you pull it apart to see what size your flywheel is

Re: What kind of clutch kit do I need?

Guessing is a bad way to buy parts...
Original equipment clutch disc/plate on a 68 250 C10 CS148_ _ _ _ _ _ _ was 10". The cover measures ~12-1/2" (12-31/64").

There was an optional 11" clutch (cover measures ~13-3/4"), its RPO M01 which would be on the SPID.
V8 CE trucks used the 11" clutch as standard equipment.

It looks like an 11" clutch should work, I can take a look at some of the parts, flywheels, clutches I have and let you know what I come up with, will let you know tomorrow......now that I know what flywheel you have

Re: What kind of clutch kit do I need?

I checked my flywheels and clutches, the flywheel you have takes a 12" clutch,I don't know how much you know about installing a clutch, but make sure you install the disc plate correctly, one side should be marked "flywheel side"...

Re: What kind of clutch kit do I need?

Recommend take the flywheel with you to a parts store and make sure the pressure plate bolts up correctly. Assume you're going to buy a clutch and pressure plate together? As long as the pressure plate bolts on correctly - then you can be confident you have the right size corresponding disk. I would not buy this thru the mail unless you know exactly what you want - and that you have original size flywheel.
