Re: How do you document your build

I am always people like SCOTI can track numerous projects and keep them all on track. I have been surprised how many times I have went back to see where a part came from. Or changing my mind and go in a different direction. That is one reason my project book is all in pencil.

Re: How do you document your build

I keep all my receipts in a 3 ring 3 inch binder with plastic sleeves and keep the receipts somewhat organized into categories. As far as costing goes I hand write everything on a piece of paper with Item Purchased Column, Date Purchased and Vendor Column and a running total about every 10/15 entries.

Re: How do you document your build

I stared taking tons of photos and saving receipts years ago. Stashed them in a yellow envelope and it’s so full now, that I may just have to get another yellow envelope lol
