That's for the later style saginaw pumps. The internal portion on the early pumps is different. It also changes the flow rate, which I don't want to do because the output line is going from the pump to the hydroboost and less flow will reduce pressure for the brakes. If I could find one of these that works with the early pumps and has stock flow rate, that would be perfect. The part I have on order from inline tube is supposed to be similar and work with the early pump.

The fitting I posted from Summit will work with Saginaw pumps from early 60s to 2000. The difference in the fitting was on the female side changed on later ones, but the male side was still the same.

That's the part from Inline Tube. Apparently I got the last one. The main problem with the CPP part is I don't think the internal portion is the same. The one on my pump, and the Inline Tube part, appears to be longer, and smaller diameter. I don't have the CPP part to compare, but from every photo I've found, it appears to be different.

Though this coupler https://www.summitracing.com/parts/edd-123600 would make the connection much longer will get you to female
Sorry noticed coupler is inverted flare.

So, the fitting I got from Inline Tube also didn't work. Threads on the pump side weren't the same and it was also missing a hole in the body that the stock piece has. So I ended up going to a hydraulics place and got a custom hose made for about $30. Should have done that a week ago and I'd be back on the road by now.

When I can't get the right ends for a power steering pressure hose, I splice in the middle with a JIC fitting. I cut the 2 existing hoses in the middle to the lengths I want. Most of the hoses are 3/8 so I get female #6 JIC fittings installed on both hoses and use a male-male #6 JIC to couple them. Then I put split loom or similar over the hose to hide the splice. This has at least 2 advantages: 1-can splice dis-similar hose sizes together and 2-if the outer ends have a bunch of bends you do not have to have them oriented correctly when making the hose, you can swivel in the hidden middle to get the correct orientation. An other option if you don't want to change anything. This is easy for most hydraulic shops.
