New Years Bump

Also adding photos of the spare wheel and tire. If the tire is not original 1971, then it sure looks like period correct.

Happy New Year all

Re: Hard to find 16 inch steel wheels

I'm interested in these wheels. Is there any pitting on the face of the wheel centers?

I think it is mainly some surface rust. I can take some better close up photos of them tomorrow and double check the condition.

Thank you,
Tom

Here are some close ups of the worst areas. Overall, they are in great condition and will clean up very nice.

Let me know,
Take care,
Tom

Re: Hard to find 16 inch steel wheels

Nice rims. I picked up a 72 Cheyenne for my brother and it had these. Made it clear I wanted them if he didn't want them. I didn't figure the truck came with them originally. Then a 16 x 7 spare?? I have a 72 original spare (different size) from my stepside that is exactly like yours, bf goodrich.
Bump for ya.

Can't believe these are still available. If I were a 5-lugger I'd be all over them.

That seems to be the common response. I wish I had a set or two of 6 lug 16's.
