Thats a good idea and would look nice

I'm going to keep this mount, I like all the options and period correct items on this truck. I think I'll restore it to the way it is except maybe I'll do buddy buckets. Its not like someone could sit in the middle of the bench anyways with the 3 levers on the floor

Re: Finally!!... found a 4x4!!!

Yeah I've read the discussion on the buddies vs. bench and the bench won but yet buddies bring the $$ and everyone goes nuts when a set is for sale. I'm tempted to do a black interior with the yellow exterior. Do you know if black interior was available in 67?

Re: Finally!!... found a 4x4!!!

well there were only 4 colors for the interior on a 67 blue, red ,green and the 67 fawn color i havent seen any black 67 parts yet..... except for a sun visor clip...so there is a 50/50 chance of there being a black interior or not

I was just kidding about the mount, altho i'd love to have one, but with 33" tires it probably wouldn't work anyway..

Re: Finally!!... found a 4x4!!!

Got the coolant drained, (only good to +10F lol), put a T3 in where the missing headlight was and took some photos before I put it into the shed yesterday. She'll sit there until the parts quest is complete. I hope this will be challenging enough to restore. I want a project that will test me. Engine is still locked solid.

Congrats on the truck, I love the power steering pics, they're the first I've seen.
