That is true. However, how would you like to see your truck on here with the same question and have people tell what they think is wrong? I love this group for the information and to see what others are doing in their builds. Some great craftsmanship and ideas are floating around this group. It's great. I may talk with guys in a small group and we discuss what we like and dis like about certain trucks/cars but I sure wouldn't post it on the internet in case the builder saw it. It is another thing, then this question, to ask it as 'What do you think of late model beds on early trucks and do you have pictures of ones you like". I am also entitled to an opinion and slamming anothers truck on a public post just isn't something I would do.

I think the truck as a whole looks friggin awesome. I wouldn't have chosen that bed either *personally*. kudos to anyone who makes their own choices tho.

I've been told my longhorn with a caddy motor was retarded.
I've been told my Suburban was the worst way to have spent my money last year when i got it.
I've been told just last week, that someone put a barbage truck up as my avatar.
All 3 of those were board members... and they said it to me, either in the truck chat room, or PM, and one of them in a public forum.

I don't care what they think. The creater of one of those comments can fall off the face of the earth... and I wouldn't care... the crater of the other two are actually somewhat important to me, so i just gave them my opinon on there girlie cars that they have in addition to there cool trucks.

Re: Does anyone like the look of this truck?

I like it myself. Yeah, it could look more at home if the wheel wells matched.
I might try it, and maybe use late model front wheel openings, so as not to hack up a decent bed.
Heck, ad a grill from that 04 Trail Blazer out in the field, a 3 inch chop, and some wicked-a$$ red and orange flames across the hood and down the sides, fat and skinnies, a blower and Pro Stock scoop...
Just makes ya drool all over the keyboard, don't it?
Everybody will be checkin out my rig then!

Re: Does anyone like the look of this truck?

Everything but the WHEELS! What where they thinking!!!
Sorry OK for real... Change the wheels and it's a nice truck. New bed is fine, most people just don't like seeing a truck of these years without the correct bed on it.
Myself if it's done right and the owner likes it then he has a nice ride.
What I or anyone else thinks doesn't matter.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

It looks to me like the wheels are 'directional' and that left side view has a left side wheel and a right side wheel.
I never did like those that went one direction on one side and the other way on the other side, follow which way I'm going here?
Cool truck.
