Loose D/S Power Mirror

Have a '05 Tahoe on which the original D/S power mirror was replaced some time ago when it was broken. Replaced the mirror with an original and lately have noticed the mirror pivot housing moves ever so little when door is opened and then closed. Throws off the mirror adjust which I can use the controls inside on the door or roll the window down and push the mirror housing out maybe a 1/4'' of travel back to original position. Looked at the bottom of the housing and don't see any way to tighten the travel adjustment? Is there something I am overlooking or ......?

Re: Loose D/S Power Mirror

I had the same problem with my non power mirror, seems that over the years of slamming the door, it starts to wear out, hard to explain that,I just bought a new mirror from TYC
