'63 Land Cruiser

This is a Toyota you don't see every day, especially around here. I was checking my local Craigslist regions and stumbled on this. I was expecting the title to be a misprint.

I'd like to see it with original wheels (& hubcaps,if they had them yet)

Re: '63 Land Cruiser

That is a nice 'Cruiser. i doubt they did all the body repairs with NO body filler. And really, you replace or restore everything on a 50 year old vehicle, but leave the 50 year old wiring harness? that is a little silly to me.

love to see that in my driveway for sure. only i would start cutting it up and making a sweet crawler out of it...

Re: '63 Land Cruiser

I'll translate. "No body filler" and "all panels welded" means they didn't use bondo to fill the holes. There has to be bondo somewhere on there. "No expense spared"? Hmmm...they spared the expense of new wiring. i really like it,and this one I'd leave as is. But,the price is sure rich

Re: '63 Land Cruiser

i know you have to use filler to cover repairs, i just don't like how they worded it. just being a nit pick.

and yeah, rich for sure, but it is crazy what original beat to death LCs are bringing these days. that price is really high for something i consider a project, but there seem to be enough people with more money than brains, willing to pay absurd prices for old vehicles. for that price, i certainly expect new wiring though!

Re: '63 Land Cruiser

Filler is fine if its used right but a lot use it wrong.Using no filler at all is super hard and a ton of man hours to get it laser straight.

Re: '63 Land Cruiser

There's a place about 3 miles from my house call Cruiser Solutions. All they do is restore & modify Land Cruisers. They do some awesome cruisers. Their currently doing one for some millionaire over in Italy. They guy flies over every so often to see how it's coming and throw some more money at it. He will have well over $100 K tied up in this thing.

It's funny because the father & son that run the business are both into 67-72 chevy trucks. I met them a couple months ago when I was selling parts on craigslist and they came over and bought some parts from me. When he saw my truck he said I saw this down at the sand blasters place, he uses the same place for his projects.

Here's a link to the place : http://cruisersolutions.com/
