Head Lights??

I guess that's what they are called? It's an LED work light that's like a headband. I see lots of advertisements all claiming to be the best...they look like they would work pretty good. Anybody out there use them? I want to get one but would.like some input on what's the best and what to stay away from.

Re: Head Lights??

I have several made by Energizer. Bought them as hunting lights as the ones I have also do red light. Recently picked up a pair with the Bushnell brand. All were in the $10~20 range.

Similar to this: https://www.energizer.com/lighting/headlights

They are good for times you need to check something after dark and you don't want to mess with moving the vehicle to a lighted place or can't because it needs repair. You have light and both hands free.

Re: Head Lights??

I wouldn't be in my shop without one, I actually have 2, keeping one on charge all the time

Works great under the truck, or just in a dark spot

Try to find one with the most lumins

My son showed me his, then sent me one, one of the best tools in my shop

Re: Head Lights??

We have them at work, very small, and very expensive..they have to be intrinsically safe..
At home , I get by without one..dont like it strapped to me ..but I do have plenty of auxiliary lighting that I do use

Re: Head Lights??

Thanks for all the feedback, I ended up ordering one from Odelfi called the Strip light Pro. 350 lumens and USB rechargeable. We'll see how good it is once it gets here.
