1968 carpet color

can anyone help me find the correct carpet color and were to buy it the truck had a rubber mat but i want to put carpet in it it has dark green dash pad and seat

I restored my 67 GMC and got the carpet at LMC truck. I got the black carpet to match with fawn interior and fitted nicely into the cabin. I think the green they sell should be fine for your truck, but no idea if itīs the correct original tone. Here is the link to the catalog:

I'm not sure what the original green would have been, but here's a link to the colors of the original 80/20 loop carpet available through Stock Interiors which sells ACC carpet in many versions for our trucks. You can request free samples from them. They also have samples of the other piles and loop versions. My guess is that you'd want a close match to the door panels and dash pad.

2X for stockinteriors.com! I've used them many times for ACC carpets. I believe the correct color carpet for a 67' with Fawn interior is Saddle. Truck should have Saddle seat belts too.

thanks.. i do want the correct green to match the door panels i am getting samples from stockinteriors.com i hope the green they have will work i am going to buy a new dash pad and just dye it the correct green

stockinteriors.com send the samples right out they have the exact green i was looking for i think the green on the far right maches the dash and seat very well

The seatbelts are the seafoam green like the truck so are the sunvisors and it had dark green door panels Dash pad seat I'm guessing that the carpet was dark green

I have the exact same color truck and seats all original and want to do new carpet also, i have ordered samples from stockinterior to see what looks best, if you order please post some pics here so i can see how the dark green looks

hi i changed mine to light green because i could not find a dark green seat i did find the light green at ricks interior they are making my seat cover. here are some samples i got from stock interiors light green and dark green and the last picture is the seat sample from ricks they are going to do my seat dash and door panels that way it will all be the same color i put the orginal looking rubber mat back in it but it covers all of the floor

my new seat cover came in today from ricks upholstery looks great and fits great... colors are a great match
