Imaginiative SPID Thread

Do you have a picture of a howler? Post it up here. I don't mean the faithfully recreated ones - too boring. I've seen some awesome Photoshop creativity on this board (Yenkos, SSs, etc.) but also some great native artistry in portraying our trucks as something they never were. Even the otherwise-perfect shorty SPIDs with the somehow scratched-out "127" in the wheelbase box qualify. I will lead off with this offering from a recent EBay auction.

Re: Imaginiative SPID Thread

Interesting. Would benefit from benefit from better spelling if it is supposed to mimic an "official" build record.

Re: Imaginiative SPID Thread

I don't know how many wild SPIDs we can come up with here that have actually been carried out, but we could sure have a heck of a thread full of dreamed up ones here.

They sure wanted stuff on that SPID

That reads 1973. They installed 327 blocks in 1973

Yep!

Very rare option V-12. I'd have the truck appraised but too weary to drive it

Re: Imaginiative SPID Thread

My truck was actually built for Clint Eastwood, says so right on the build sheet, I'm almost positive The Ochre never took, so I ended up with it.

Re: Imaginiative SPID Thread

Can I have mine made with the “ finished and ready to drive option“ ??

Sure would like to have that magic wand right about now!
