Progress on 68 C 10

Finally making some progress on my 68. Started out kinda shaky when i switched frames from a 68 to a 72 for the coil springs and disc brakes. Then after i started on the cab i found so much rot that my best option was to get a new cab. I found a 69 cab that had already had a lot of work done to it. I fixed the issues that needed addressed. Finally painted it and now it's on the frame and starting to take shape.

What were the frame swap issues? other than having to do the swap???

Looking forward to seeing more of that blue color on more body parts!!!

Re: Progress on 68 C 10

No real issues. It all started as a 68 long bed without the bed. Just the cab and front end. after i found a frame i shortened it, first time doing that. Had the rear end rebuilt. Lowered the rear 3 in. and the front 2.5 with drop spindles. Rebuilt the front end. I've done restorations before but this one has been up hill for some reason but it seems to be working out. Since i'm dealing with 3 different yrs i have to stop and think when i order parts.
