Seat question

Has anyone tried using a standard truck bench seat frame and using 2nd row mounting brackets to make their own full size 2nd row seat? I'm unfamiliar if there are any construction differences in a stock 2nd row bench vs. a standard truck bench. Will the mounting brackets easily adapt to the truck bench?

Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.

Re: Seat question

They are quite different but it could be done if you have the metal fabrication skills.
See the link for information on factory Burban second row seats.

There are a bunch of threads on factory pickup seat mounts just do a search.

Here is one.
